Spanish Classes for Children and Teens - Group Classes
At the Spanish Lab and Learning Center, we use innovative and research-based methods to teach Spanish. We strive to provide a comprehensive experience in learning Spanish language and culture.
We offer classes for students K-12. Students are clustered by proficiency level. The courses range from beginners, intermediate and advanced language proficiency. All Spanish classes are taught by native Spanish speakers who have a wide range of experience in teaching languages. The methods and techniques used, are designed to make the learning effective and efficient.
Classes meet twice a week (Monday/ Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday) from 4:00 – 5:30
Spanish Classes for Children Rates
Fall Semester 2024
Agosto 26 - December 20
32 sessions - Mondays/Wednesdays (No classes on September 2 , November 27)
or
32 sessions Tuesdays/ Thursdays (No classes on November 5, November 28)
Enrollment fee $80
Spring Semester 2025
January 13 - May 21
32 sessions - Mondays / Wednesdays (No classes on January 20, February 17, March 10, Spring Break March 31-April 4, April 21)
or
32 sessions - Tuesdays / Thursdays (No classes on January 21, February 18, April 1 and 3, May 20)
Enrollment fee $80
Semester Prices
$800 per semester due at the beginning of each semester
Or
4 installments due at the beginning of each month of $ 220
Missed Lessons: If the student misses a lesson, we will not reschedule the lesson or refund for the missed lesson.
*If you sign up your child for both semesters, you only pay for one enrollment fee of $80.

Nest Classroom
The Nest Classroom is designed for toddlers ages 3 and 4. Children can participate for up to 6 hours a week of learning Spanish in an Immersion setting through play based learning.
We offer a curriculum plan that naturally and progressively helps your child develop bilingual skills.
Mondays – Friday 9:00 – 12:00 or 12:30 – 3:30
Private Tutoring in Spanish or English
Private tutoring classes are personally tailored lessons for students who need extra support in Reading or Math in English or Spanish. The private tutors are certified K-5 teachers who will meet with students on a one-on-one basis to ensure individualized attention.
Spanish Classes for Homeschoolers
If you are a homeschool parent who has considered adding a foreign language to your child, this program is for you. Students have the opportunity to learn to communicate in Spanish with consistent practice with native-speaking instructors who are also certified to teach Spanish in Virginia. Flexible schedule to fit a time that is convenient for your child.
Spanish for Adults
Spring semester January 13 – May 30, 2025
We have three options:
- In person -Tuesdays/ Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30 p.m (Levels: Novice High/ Intermediate Low)
- Online – Tuesdays/ Thursdays: 5:45 – 6:45 p.m (Beginners)
- Online – Tuesdays/ Thursdays: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m (Intermediate)
Prices:
- $450/semester or 4 payments of $120
